Restaurants
Does your restaurant feel worth its prices?
An independent, unannounced assessment of what your guests actually experience, from the door to the bill, graded against the price you charge. For restaurants in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and across the UAE.
When owners call us
The food is good. The room is not keeping up.
- Reviews praise the food but call the place ordinary. Guests are telling you the experience sits a level below the kitchen.
- You are discounting to fill tables you should not need to discount. Price resistance is usually a perception problem before it is a pricing one.
- A new branch does not feel like the first. The standard lived in the founder's head and did not travel.
- It is right when you are there and slips when you are not. The experience depends on the owner rather than on a standard.
What we examine
| Touchpoint | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Before arrival | Booking, the confirmation message, directions and parking |
| Arrival | The door, the first acknowledgement, the wait, the host stand |
| The table | Napkins, cutlery, glassware, condiments, the chair, the light |
| Menu and ordering | The menu itself, how dishes are explained, the pace of ordering |
| Service | Timings between courses, how dishes are set down and cleared, water |
| Sound, scent, light | Music and volume, smells reaching the dining room, lighting |
| Washrooms | Cleanliness, supplies and whether they match the dining room |
| The bill and leaving | How the bill arrives, payment, the goodbye, the street outside |
What you receive
A graded report: each touchpoint marked Generic, Considered, Distinct or Signature against your price, five readings across the whole visit, the evidence for every finding, any critical findings flagged at once, and the smallest changes that would lift the experience, in order of priority. The report is yours, whether or not you continue.

How much does a restaurant experience assessment cost in Dubai?
It depends on the number of visits and the size of the restaurant. A single-location assessment is a fixed fee agreed before the first visit, and fees are shared on enquiry.
Will my staff know they are being assessed?
No. Visits are made as an ordinary guest without warning to staff. Owners agree the scope in advance; the timing is not shared.
Do you inspect the kitchen?
No. We assess what guests experience. If we see a hygiene or safety problem from the guest side, we report it to the owner straight away as a critical finding.
Is this the same as a mystery shop?
It overlaps, but it goes further. A mystery shop checks your existing standard. We grade the whole experience against your price, tell you whether the standard itself is right, and specify what to change.
Do you work outside Dubai?
Yes. We assess restaurants across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.
Is this a restaurant experience audit?
Yes. Some call it a guest experience audit or a mystery diner visit. Ours is unannounced, made as an ordinary guest, and graded against your price, with a written standard and return visits if you continue.
